Geoffrey Gore

Craniosacral therapy, applied kinesiology for muscular-skeletal, back, neck, shoulder problems, headaches and stress issues

Geoffrey GoreGeoff moved to Golden Bay in 1988. He has 28 years experience in the field of physical therapy and holistic health. He offers both Craniosacral Therapy and Applied Kinesiology, seeing clients presenting with a wide variety of issues including musculoskeletal problems, and stress-related issues.

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a discipline which aims to restore balance. It uses manual muscle testing to identify where problems exist, and various techniques to strengthen weak muscles and restore balance to the body. Great therapy for Low lumbar, neck, shoulders, sports injuries, muscular aches and pains and more.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) regards the body as the fabric on which all life experiences have been imprinted. Not only physical stresses, but also emotional traumas may create deep patterns which affect the way people function. The treatment is gentle, light touch and aimed at releasing tensions and restrictions. It has a wide range of applications: stress, anxiety, headaches; clients with depression, irritability and agitation, fatigue, localised unexplained pain, numbness, disassociation. CST is also ideal for newborns and babies with issues of compression and shock related to birth.
